We are an innovative UK manufacturer, based in Stanmore, London. Since our startup in 1961, we have grown to become the market’s leading specialised power distribution unit (PDU) manufacturer. We design and manufacture all our products on site; this assures the superiority of our components, design methodologies, and quality testing procedures.

Product Quality

While our customers come from healthcare, audio-visual, catering, data centres, education, office, industrial and many other demanding applications, all appreciate our product quality and custom design flexibility.

By regularly meeting our customers’ challenging requirements throughout our long trading history, we have built up a comprehensive range of over 1,800 standard products. Our extensive on-site stock is complemented by our experienced and qualified design and manufacturing specialists: all resources remain co-located at our London facility for optimal responsiveness and fastest turnaround.

Product Highlights

Highlights of our range include vertical and 19” rack mounting products which excel in optimising internal rack space within data centres and other environments: we also offer a wide choice of horizontal units. These allow users to optimally manage their power distribution systems with intelligent PDUs and features like remote monitoring and switching of up to 32 outlets, sequential starting, surge protection, automatic transfer, and cable management.

Suspended Units

For maximum versatility, we offer our unique Suspended PDUs, which can accommodate up to eight sockets with a wide choice of socket types, from standard UK 13A BS1363 to 16A and 32A IEC 60309/BS 4343 with 110V or 230V ratings. USB ports are often also included.

Retractor Option

A Retractor option is now available for added convenience and safety. This allows the Suspended Unit to be lowered and locked into the desired working position, and then retracted after use. This option is particularly useful in busy environments like commercial kitchens, workshops, school laboratories, garages, and warehouses.

Sound Fantastic

Another notable offering is our Sound Fantastic range, which provides a pure, clean mains supply to premium home and professional audio visual systems. This is critical in ensuring the highest possible sound quality from these systems. ‘What Hi Fi?’ magazine gives the Sound Fantastic range a five-star review on its website.

Additional Ranges

We have developed and engineered many other ranges including office desk units, hospital grade and industrial products, international units, and accessories, together with related services.

We also design and manufacture custom PDUs to individual requirements, offering competitive solutions even for very low volumes or one-offs. We supply to various industries and large organisations worldwide, so we understand the importance of working closely with our customers. Our knowledgeable and experienced design and technical team can quickly prepare detailed drawings and quotations, as well as evaluation prototypes if required.

Manufacturing

For manufacturing, we have a fully-equipped ISO 9001:2015 production facility, which includes a wide range of metal fabrication machinery and an in-house powder coating facility. This gives us complete control over our entire manufacturing process, whether offered as a service or used for our own products.

Our products are hand-made, which assures both their high quality and their economy at low volumes. Throughout our 60-year history, we have constantly manufactured all our own products in the UK, and are a proud member of Made in Britain. We continuously innovate to meet the ever-evolving needs of the diverse industries that we serve, as well as changing legislative requirements.
