Made In Britain Accreditation for Olson

Olson Electronics was founded in 1961 as a family run business. We specialise in the design and manufacturing of Power Distribution units. Our products are all hand-made and produced at our head office and manufacturing facility in Stanmore, London.

Becoming members of Made in Britain was extremely important for all of us here at Olson and to now carry their accreditation is a proud mile stone in our 60 years history. The famous Made in Britain mark will enable us to promote our British origins and showcase our abilities as a UK manufacturer.

Made in Britain supports and promotes British companies, making it easier for buyers and consumers to find quality British made products through a comprehensive platform. The accreditation brings together the British manufacturing community under one recognisable mark.

Olson have always been leaders and innovators when it comes to providing power. Our experienced technical engineers are able to work with specific customer requirements and dynamically adapt our on-site production capability to supply custom one-off products or a full production run within a short time-scale.

A unique blend of experience and knowledge of manufacturing power distribution units are the foundation for the specialised services we offer. We are proud to say that we provide power to many NHS hospitals as well as schools, universities and data centres within the UK and overseas.

You can expect high quality products which are tested and inspected before leaving our premises in Stanmore. All of our products are ISO 9001 approved and comply to British Standards.

We are known for our excellent customer service and our short lead times. Employees at Olson strive for progression and with it comes the evolution of Olson products. By having a wide range of inhouse applications such as a metal-shop, spray plant and an assembly line provides support and give us much more flexibility.

Since Brexit, the importance of promoting British made goods in the global market is more important now than ever and Olson are proud to be part of the Made in Britain organisation. What better way to kick off our 60th year of British manufacturing than joining such a relevant organisation as this, which links directly into the values our business has been founded on.
